Guide Review - Sony Ericsson Z520a

The Sony Ericsson Z520a is a follow-up to the Z500a, it’s an entry-level phone usually offered for free by carriers. It has great features for a low priced phone, there is no question: Bluetooth, a VGA camera, a very small and lightweight form factor, a good keypad, dual color displays and good battery life. It’s a pleasure to carry around. However, there are some annoying details. The flip up cover is not easy to open with one hand. And worse than that, though I did not experience it to such an extent myself, various users from around the web have reported spotty service quality compared to other phones on the same network. However, others did not report similar problems and I, when using this phone, didn’t experience reception problems. I believe this means that if you travel a lot out of urban areas, it may be risky to get the Sony Ericsson Z520a.
